GENERAL SUMMARY
Inspects purchased parts, assemblies and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements. Completes inspections to work instructions, checklists, routers, and engineering requirements using such measuring equipment such as check fixtures, micrometers, calipers and other gages. Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits. Able to read and interpret Engineering requirements in the form of specifications, drawings and models. Makes pass or fail decisions on inspected parts or assemblies and able to record results
